Technical Business Analyst

About the role

We are looking to recruit someone bright, passionate and experienced to help lead integration projects. As a client intelligence B2B SaaS start-up, it is crucial that integrating our platform is as smooth as possible. You may find yourself in the unknowns as you design solutions for our clients but curiosity and fast learning will help you thrive.

The successful candidate will be confident delivering both the technical and client-facing aspects that the role demands.  Being able to understand the client’s business requirements and mapping those to FeedStock’s technical solution is of paramount importance in this role. As is the ability to articulate complex technical considerations in a clear, coherent way to both technical and non-technical audiences.

This role is for a dynamic, energetic self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, start-up environment. You will be leading our efforts in complex scenarios facing large organizations’ IT teams, solving unexpected complications in real-time, and integrating with a wide range of information systems. Main responsibilities

Pre-sales:

– Pre-sales technical demonstrations and presentations supporting our sales team

– Asist clients with vendor screening process including architecture review and security questionnaires

– Analysis of security and deployment requirements with client’s IT staff

– Work with our development team and client’s IT staff to design bespoke architecture solutions

Integration:

– Own the integration project and resolve all technical and non-technical issues to ensure timely and successful delivery

– Proactively manage high-visibility, high-touch customer relationships during the integration

– Manage communication and timelines between client’s IT staff and our development team

– Work with other internal stakeholders to prioritise workload for our development team

Post-Integration:

– Work with clients to establish customer technical support model

– Maintain close relations with existing clients to ensure smooth continued delivery of product

– Manage release documentation and communicate updates with client end-users

Skills and experience

– 5 years technical business analysis experience with solid technical knowledge in system architecture

– Strong project management and stakeholder management skills and strong communication skills (written and verbal)

– Knowledge of enterprise software lifecycles

– Capable of analytical thinking and ability to make decisions with data

– Ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment with an open mind

– Ability to think beyond assigned task and have vision for the big picture

– Knowledge of or ability to learn the required sysadmin and devops skills (e.g. AWS/Linux/Kubernetes)

– Knowledge of technology solutions, current trends and techniques including but not limited to:

– APIs and software development models

– AWS cloud technologies (cloudformation, cloudwatch)

– IT security (on-premise and hybrid solutions)

– Relevant university degree – IT / Computer Science with business management or similar

Nice to have

– Knowledge of financial services sector

– Prior experience coding in Python
